Critical Public Health Challenges in the US : A Legal Perspective course offers professionals an in-depth exploration of pressing public health challenges in the United States, including topics such as abortion access and reproductive rights, homelessness, mental health, harm reduction strategies, the opioid epidemic, assisted dying, the prison system, and health insurance.

Participants will have the opportunity to select or propose specific issues of interest in advance, allowing the course to be tailored to their professional needs. Each topic will be examined through the lens of relevant legislation and case law, shedding light on the unique features of the U.S. legal and healthcare systems.
