The DBA ECONOMICS & FINANCE has a minimum duration of 36 months and is structured around six modules and two seminars.
The programme is designed to train senior executives in applied research in economics and finance, culminating in the preparation of a professional thesis that makes an original contribution to the fields of finance, quantitative methods, governance, or regulation.
The DBA ECONOMICS & FINANCE aims to develop both scientific and operational expertise, including the design of financial strategies, the development of innovative tools (algorithms, governance models, sustainable finance instruments), the implementation of academic knowledge within the corporate environment…
Key Skills
The DBA ECONOMICS & FINANCE stands out for its unique positioning at the intersection of academia and professional practice.
Designed for senior executives and experts seeking to deepen their understanding of contemporary economic and financial dynamics, it offers an integrated approach combining scientific rigour, strategic thinking, and operational relevance.
The programme promotes applied research as a driver of managerial innovation: each participant is supported in formulating and implementing a research problem directly derived from their professional environment, with the aim of producing an original contribution to governance, risk management, or emerging economic and financial models. Individual supervision, provided by both academic researchers and high-level practitioners, ensures continuous methodological and scientific guidance throughout the programme.
The DBA ECONOMICS & FINANCE is also distinguished by its intellectual openness and its capacity to train informed decision-makers. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of competencies – from data science to sustainable finance, and from economic and financial theory to technological innovation – aiming to foster a deep understanding of markets and organisations.
Through an adapted pedagogical approach, the programme encourages critical thinking, intellectual distance, and the ability to translate complex issues into concrete solutions. It thus provides participants with a high-level reflective space, conducive to the generation of new ideas and the development of genuine intellectual leadership expertise in finance.
